I am guessing the sheer number of different property managers allocated to the house over the course of our lease hasnt helped, but probably speaks volumes about peard as a company as it just seems incredibly disorganised.

We handed the keys back four weeks ago and despite the final inspection confirming everything was good, have now been told we'll not be getting 90% of the bond back as there were some water bills that they hadn't sent through to us dating back as far as almost three years($1300s worth). Peard were unable to explain why they hadn't sent these through, stating only that they didn't receive them from the owner. Why the owner would wait so long to send them through I am not sure, but as property managers, I would expect them to have been aware of this issue far earlier than once we had moved out (some water bills were sent, and promptly paid, hence our surprise to be met by more as we left).

I rented a house through Peards real estate with Rikki Mooney. It was my first house I have ever rented and she made it a breeze from the very start. Rikki was more then happy to meet me at the property at a time that suited me, helped me fill out the paper work and to understand it, rent inspections were made to suit us with the date and once our lease ended Rikki sent us a letter to help us get our bond back.

Rented house from them. Do not trust. Seems very sweet but can turn nasty. Complains about lemons on ground even though we picked up.wind blew more on ground. . Will definitely not be useing peard realestate for any future business.

I personally would not recommend they to any prospective seller to the detriment of the company they represent and the benefit of the seller and loss to possible buyers .

The office is always poorly staffed, small and cramped, their communication to clients is also very poor, they stuffed up my bond retrieval, 7 weeks after leaving the property, still no bond.

I dealt with this agency thru agents Lynn Stowe and Anne Dearson. They are very poor in the skill of helping both the seller and the buyer in the process of negotiation of a sale and are very defensive when caught out by not wanting to present all offers on when they have one in hand and a better offer could be presented to the seller.

Between them taking three months to replace the broken oven, and avoiding my emails / calls to them to report a gas leak at the property, these guys have been awful.

I'm still not sure whether we're the victims of some form of scam here, but my advice to anyone looking at renting from this company would be to avoid. If I was in a similar situation where I needed to rent, I would even consider paying more with another firm for the peace of mind that the company is competent.

For them it appears that as the have an offer in hand they can count on their commission and not have to worry about other competing offers .Give them a wide berth
