  About a year and a half ago, Jim Kidd Sports on Boas Avenue in Joondalup said they would contact me about an item 'the next day'. It took 2 phone calls later in the week (by me) to find out they were out of stock and weren't going to ring any stores for me. Why do I mention this today, when it happened so long ago.... because I thought I would give them a second chance, and virtually the same thing just happened again this week.

  A week ago (last Saturday), I stopped into Jim Kidd Sports on Boas Avenue in Joondalup again. This time, looking for an entirely different item. They were out of stock, but that was no big deal. They said that they would check their 'warehouse' the following Wednesday and ring me the same day to let me know whether or not they had any available. So, they took my contact information. No phone call on Wednesday, so I rang them on Thursday morning. They said they were not done going through the warehouse and would call me later in the day. Not big deal. They did not ring back, so I rang again on Friday morning and they gave me the same response about not being done going through the warehouse and they would ring me by the end of the day on Friday. No phone call from them on Friday. I ring them on Saturday afternoon and they tell me they are out of stock and to ring another one of their stores. It took me ringing THEM back several times to be told that I should be ringing one of their stores. Shouldn't they at least OFFER to ring other stores for the customer?!

  So much for second chances! It is worth noting that they were not verbally rude in any way in either of these circumstances, but it is also worth noting that this is very poor customer service. I will not be going back to them and I suggest other people avoid them as well.
