  Last friday I raced into the shop to get a new phone sorted for my husband as he had lost his. I explained that the number was "the one" our business operated from and that we were very anxious to get it back up and running. Our business is a 24/7 operation. The staff member that "assisted" and I use that term very very loosely, told me that I needed a letter of authorisation on our company letterhead otherwise there was nothing he could do. I explained again our situation and that we had all our business, private and mobile phones with telstra and that I personally had dealt with people in that shop on numerous occassions so all my details would be there and still, no help. Late Friday afternoon, I could not get a letter. I asked if I could fax it in on Monday. Nope. I totally understand protocol but the tone in which I was spoken to was unprofessional, rude and condescending. He just kept repeating "you need a letter of authorisation" in that lovely slow condescending tone he was using. Please note, the shop was not busy, wonder why?? and there were lots of staff members standing around doing nothing. So, I took myself over the JBHI where the lovely young lady asked for some details like ACN no. etc, looked up our account and wahlah!! Done! Just like that! Bought the phone outright and she helped me with a better plan and set the phone up for me. No worries! Who needs bloody Telstra!! Faxed my authorisation letter in the next week. My advice is, GO TO JBHI for all your phone needs because they saved me when Telstra didnt care less!! Wish I could remember the name of the arrogant little person who "served" me cos I would be putting it right here!!

  Terrible service!! Went in to buy an iPhone 6 and was told I could not without my husband present. What is this the 50's? After explaining I was formally the authorised person for our business account the answer was still no. Very disgruntled I turned to the internet to find an alternative Telstra shop to visit WITH my husband to change all the accounts over and purchase a new phone with more helpful staff only to find the reviews of most Telstra shops absolutely appalling. Perhaps I need to follow Natalie to JB HIFI.

  Do your research b4 u sign a internet contract. Im only getting 3mbps download speed in Carramar. Was told I'd get min of 6. I have 2 wait till after 10pm to get this. Its good 4 me as i watch epl

  Atrocious customer service by employees & the manager. Don't shop here!!!! Telstra do your brand & your customers a favor, restructure this store with new employees & managers. You'll retain profits & customers if you do!
